Orchestrated charts the unknown story of the first full-time Black symphony orchestra.

It follows pianist, Black Lives Matter activist, and NYU professor Kyle P. Walker on a quest to uncover the lost traces of the audacious project, to connect to living witnesses, and to understand why this critical chapter of our shared history has vanished.

While examining the racism that continues to haunt classical music today and teaming with a British conductor Alex Walker, Kyle sets out to finish the project and orchestrate a premiere of its original music at Carnegie Hall.
