NATIVE SPEAKERS

feature film in development

You better watch her mouth.

NATIVE SPEAKERS is an absurdist love story/body horror, set in New York City of 2008. It follows a Polish composer Eva, as she struggles to subdue the tongue that escaped her mouth and turned into a stalking monster.

An embodiment of her foreign accent and otherness, or maybe just a New Yorker's nervous breakdown, the Tongue ultimately leads Eva to herself, through the turmoil and glory of the immigrant experience.

Sundance Fast Track 2027 second-rounder.
